About the Role :

We are seeking an accomplished and detail-driven Senior Manager – Finance & Administration to lead financial operations, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and enhance administrative efficiency. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven track record in financial management who are committed to driving operational excellence and contributing to the growth and success of startups within the dynamic Venture Capital ecosystem.

 

Job Location: On-site, South Delhi

Experience Required: 7+ years of experience 

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Operations & Reporting:
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
    • Prepare financial statements and performance reports for leadership review.
    • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and key financial metrics to optimize resources.

  2. Regulatory Compliance & Audit:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and reporting standards.
    • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly.
    • Implement and maintain financial policies to drive governance and transparency.

  3. Team Management:
    • Supervise and guide the finance and administrative teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

  4. Operational Efficiency:
    • Oversee administrative processes to ensure effective resource management.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Leverage technology to automate tasks and enhance operational workflows.

  5. Strategic Support:
    • Assist leadership with financial planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
    • Provide insights into cost optimization and risk management strategies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • High proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
  • Experience in managing audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
